'The “getup” is a fascinating movement which can encompass mobility, strength, balance, core, stability … a lot! You can do it unweighted, with light load, or go BIG! Of course we recommend you get a qualified professional to teach you like one of our many Strong First certified instructors. We’d love as many of you as possible to maintain a strong strategy to get up and down off the ground AS LONG AS YOU LIVE! It doesn’t have to be the getup exercise but it sure helps!'See also:
